I know it’s been a couple of months since he was born! Truth is, I was going to write a blog post referring to both boys and then I realised I hadn’t actually introduced him on here. If you’re on Instagram, you’re clued on as I’ve already shared a number of updates and photos.

But if you’re not, this is for you! At a little over 39 weeks, he made his entrance and made us a family of 4.

He was born at the end of April and in the thick of Covid 19 lockdown. This meant we couldn’t have an elaborate photo shoot but I’m thankful for my friend and photographer Tuawa – @1815studios who came to the rescue and helped us capture some moments.

Like his baby shower, the naming ceremony was also virtual via Zoom. This was quite good as friends and family around the world could join us to official welcome him, bless and pronounce his names.

It’s been over three months now, but officially on here, say hello to Kelenna!

His first name is Igbo and means “Give thanks to the Father”. His Yoruba name is Karayo which means “Let us continue to find Joy”.

These photos were taken at one week old. I’m amazed at how time flies! flown! Looking at them again, I already miss the new born days.

Kelenna loves his breast milk. I was open to combination feeding but he didn’t appear to a fan of formula so he’s almost exclusively breastfeeding.

Like many newborns, and his older brother we’ve managed through baby acne, colic and cradle cap — and he’s been such a champ.

We’ve had first round of vaccinations and gearing for the next round soon. He’s also had a 5 hour road trip and was pretty good through it all.

Generally, he’s such a sweet calm boy and we’re all excited and thankful to have him!
