Is it weird that I’m spending a decent amount of time during this social distancing drooling over blazers? I love a good blazer and its ability to transform even the most basic outfits.
Right now, loose fitting and oversize blazers are my favourites.I don’t have that many, but I’m sure I’ll have added a few to my wardrobe by time all is back to normal. It doesn’t help right now that some of my favourite stores are running some pretty good discounts, and I’ve shared some of my top picks below. In my defence, I will be de-cluttering too and getting rid of old stuff.
When it comes to blazers that one can get the most wear out of, my favourites are Cream, Navy, and Check. But then I also love a ton of bright coloured blazers that just elevate an outfit.
Back to getting the most of my wardrobe and with Spring officially here, I’m sharing three easy ways to style a cream blazer.
My go to work-wear is pants, cami and a blazer. Having a work uniform of some sort really eases the stress of getting dressed in the morning. While I often stick to black tailored pants, a cream blazer allows you to wear pretty much any colour of pants and make that work as well. Court shoes could go pretty well with this look as well.
I’m such a jeans and sneakers person. While that’s fine many times, something an outfit just needs an extra “oomph”, and that’s where a blazer comes in. You don’t even have to wear it all day and can drape it on your shoulder for a different vibe. Pair with a statement or graphic Tee – again, bright tees would look great!
Pleat skirts are a dream for me, and another item of clothing I’m able to wear in different ways. Paired with sneakers, a cream blazer and a cross body bag, it’s great for a smartish-casual kind of look!
That’s what I’ve got. Three easy ways to wear a cream blazer.
These photos were taken last Spring, but I believe they’re still pretty decent. My blazer was also from Topshop and it’s one of my go-to stores for a stylish and affordable blazer. They’ve currently got such a great selection of wonderful colours and styles – and on sale too! I’ve picked a few (okay more than a few below) for you to check out. I already bought a couple, but more colours are calling out to me!
Which do you like?
How would you rate my easy styling and how are you likely to wear a cream blazer?
